Home decoration in crochet book review
It was a very quick YES to be asked to be part of Tanya's from' Little things blogged' fantastic blog tour, for her gorgeous new book Home Decoration in crochet. First thoughts when I received the book was WOW its so pretty and colourful, great for colour lovers or for anyone that stuggles to put colours together. There is over twenty five beautiful projects inside the book. Patterns with very decorative and textured stitches, lots of modern ideas to classic ideas. Perfect projects to brighten your home.
There is some extremely cool projects i cant wait to start in this awesome book. The project that stood out the most to me, is the Geometric popcorn cushion cover, very modern and fun, so i started making it in a lovely shade of mustard, the pattern is very well written, each pattern in the book comes with a picture diagram, i'm loving my cushion so far.
Also whipped up a cute little cupcake pot holder for fun, my six year old son loves it. My to make list from this book is going to be huge next project on my hook will be a very sweet little Hook case.
This wonderful book is full of great colourful projects to brighten up your home. Some speedy makes to give you that quick fix of a finished project, some beautiful projects you can keep going back to. Absolutly one crochet book you should have.
Thank you to the lovely Tanya and Tuva Publishing for sending me this fab book. Do not forget to put it on your christmas list, you will find it on Amazon.
Colorful Crochet, the review.
My lovely, bright, colourful friend, Marianne Dekkers-Roos has recently brought out a delightful new book, I've had a chance to sample it "YAY" and I just love the smell of new books. The book is called Colorful Crochet, just like its name it is jam packed with wonderful patterns in the most amazing colours.
The patterns are beautifully written and cover all areas, with many projects for beginners. Basic crochet instructions are illustrated inside the book, with more challenging ones along side their pattern. Every pattern comes with a visual chart which I love to use.
