Colorful Crochet, the review.

My lovely, bright, colourful friend, Marianne Dekkers-Roos has recently brought out a delightful new book, I've had a chance to sample it "YAY" and I just love the smell of new books. The book is called Colorful Crochet, just like its name it is jam packed with wonderful patterns in the most amazing colours.

Marianne's lovely new book features more than 20 projects, the style is a mix of boho, modern and traditional which I think will appeal to lots of us crocheters. The patterns consist of Shawls, cushions, bags and beautiful garments to wear, all made in the most stunning colours.

The patterns are beautifully written and cover all areas, with many projects for beginners. Basic crochet instructions are illustrated inside the book, with more challenging ones along side their pattern. Every pattern comes with a visual chart which I love to use.

I fell in love with Marianne's gorgeous flower garland pattern, I just had to make them, I used up some old Drops Paris cotton for my flowers, they were a lot of fun to make, I shall be whipping up many more in the future. The flowers  are also used in a cushion and shawl pattern inside the book.

I've also been trying out the Cirle wall hanging project, again I used up some old drops Paris cotton.

Absolutely love Marianne's new book true to its word it's certainly colourful.
